УAt about 6:50 a.m. we received notice from Center Line police that a robbery had just occurred at 10 Mile and Mound,Ф Ricotta said. УThe 22-year-old [suspect] enters the gas station when nobody was in the place and pulls out a gun.Ф Ricotta said the suspect encountered two female employees inside the station. The armed suspect reportedly ordered the women to get on the ground, and later demanded that one of them carry cash and cartons of cigarettes to her own vehicle. The suspect then reportedly drove the woman and her car away from the scene with the stolen cigarettes and money. While with the suspect, Ricotta said the woman was able to repeatedly call the gas station with a cell phone concealed in her pocket. The calls, routed from the womanТs mobile phone to the gas station through a nearby cell tower, were used to track the woman to an area near Wiegand and Lawrence. УScout cars were everywhere,Ф Ricotta said. УWe kind of knew the area she was in. She came walking out of a house and there was a Center Line car right there.Ф
